The Rago Fabrication Toyota Tacoma Bed Stiffeners solve a known problem that Tacoma's acquire over time. If you have a camper shell, bed rack, or use your Tacoma to off-road frequently, the rear sheet metal channels are known to crack over time because of added stress and weight to the vehicle. Our bed stiffeners will strengthen the bed of your truck and do not interfere with your stock bed mat.
Our brackets mount on the bottom using existing bolt holes and to the side of the bed with (3) 1/2" bolts which requires drilling. The brackets come finished in a hammer black powder coat for durability and resistance to weather. The installation is easily completed within a half an hour. These fit 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Generation Tacomas across all trims levels.
These mounts are NOT compatible with bed extenders.
Modification may be required if you have a plastic bed liner.
Please Note: During installation it's important to use a Step Bit (Unibit) to prevent cracking, rather than a regular Drill Bit.
