The Tacoma Overland Front Bumper for 3rd Gen models (2016-2023) is built for serious off-road capability and aggressive styling. Constructed from 3/16″ laser-cut P&O steel with 1/4″ thick mounting plates, this bumper offers a rugged foundation for front-end protection. Fully welded 3/4″ D-ring tabs come standard for secure recovery points. Weighing in at 115 lbs without a bull bar and up to 135 lbs with full-height bull bar and headlight hoops, this bumper delivers strength without excessive weight.
Designed for functionality, it fits most 8k-12k winches, including ComeUp, Smittybilt X20, and Warn Zeon or VR series. Winches with integrated control boxes may require trimming of the grille support brackets, so we recommend models with relocatable control boxes for easier installation. Synthetic rope winches paired with a hawse-style fairlead are strongly recommended, as some roller fairleads may not fit the recessed fairlead mount. Front-facing cutouts provide easy access to the winch clutch lever for fast engagement in recovery scenarios.
The bumper is also lighting-ready, with a dedicated slot for a 30″ single-row light bar, specifically designed around the Baja Designs S8, but also compatible with the RIGID 30″ SR Series and Extreme LED 5D bars. Fog light pockets are made to fit Baja Designs Squadron lights only and do not support factory fog lights.
Installation requires trimming of the factory plastic bumper, and powder coating or painting is necessary unless you opt for our powder coat option. Note that the mid-height bull bar version is not compatible with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS).
