The Rock Runner Front Bumper transforms your 5th Gen 4Runner into a trail-ready beast with a modular 3-piece design built for strength, clearance, and versatility. Designed for serious use, this bumper requires trimming the factory plastic bumper for a proper fit and maximum clearance. Constructed from 11-gauge laser-cut P&O steel with 3/16-inch thick mounting plates and winch plate, the Rock Runner provides a solid foundation for recovery and protection. Fully welded 3/4-inch D-ring tabs are included standard, giving you reliable recovery points when you need them. Weight ranges from 100-108 lbs depending on your chosen configuration (plate or tube sides, with or without bull bar).
The bumper comes equipped with frame support brackets, a winch cover plate, and a bridge skid to tie into our existing skid plates and the factory cross member. It fits most 8k-10k winches, with Smittybilt X20 and Warn VR Series confirmed. Winches with synthetic rope and a hawse fairlead are recommended for the cleanest fit, though some trimming of the grille support brackets may be needed for integrated control box winches.
Lighting and utility are baked in. Tube side wings include mounts sized for up to one Baja Designs Squadron, one S2, and one S1 light per side, while front cutouts provide easy winch lever access. An aluminum fill panel completes the look if you’re running without a winch. For additional armor, a washer tank skid can be added.
Optional features include a TSS relocation bracket for 2020-2024 4Runners to keep Toyota Safety Sense fully functional. Unless you select the powder coat option, the bumper ships raw steel and must be painted or coated to prevent rust.
